Mr. Rotteveel is a Special Prosecutor assigned to the Auto Theft and Insurance Fraud Task Force of Northeastern Pennsylvania. The Special Prosecutor covers a total of 11 counties in Northeastern Pennsylvania, including: Lackawanna, Luzerne, Wyoming, Monroe, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Bradford, Carbon, Columbia and Wayne. Since joining the Task Force, he has prosecuted a variety of cases concerning insurance fraud and auto theft.
Mr. Rotteveel comes to the Task Force from the Philadelphia Housing Authority where he was assigned as an Investigative Legal Analyst. There he conducted and led investigations concerning fraud, corruption abuse and waste within the Housing Authority. Before his assignment with the Housing Authority, C.J. gained experience with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office as a Special Prosecutor.
Mr. Rotteveel attended Widener University where he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree. He earned his Juris Doctorate, with a concentration in litigation, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2010.
Mr. Rotteveel resides in Clarks Summit with his wife and two children.
