Michelle Olshefski

(Special Victims Unit)

Deputy District Attorney Michelle Olshefski is assigned to the Special Victim Unit, which handles cases of child abuse and neglect.

Attorney Olshefski received her juris doctorate from Temple University School of Law in 1995 and her bachelor's degree from Eastern College in 1992. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New York. Prior to coming to Lackawanna County, Attorney Olshefski worked as an Assistant District Attorney for the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office, as well as the Nassau County District Attorney's Office in New York. She has served as a law clerk for the Honorable Correale F. Stevens of the Pennsylvania Superior Court, the United States Attorney's Office, District of Delaware, and the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office.
