Shane Scanlon
Mr. Scanlon obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Marywood University in 2000. In 2003 he graduated from Widener University School of Law where he received his Juris Doctorate degree.
Shane joined the District Attorney’s Office in 2003. In 2010, he was promoted to Deputy District Attorney designated as the Chief Prosecutor of the Narcotics/Gun Crime Unit. As Chief of the Narcotics/Gun Crime Unit, he oversees a staff of attorneys and detectives specializing in the investigation and prosecution of felony drug and firearm cases.
Mr. Scanlon is a member of the Lackawanna County Bar Association Young Lawyers Division, the Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Association; he is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Lackawanna and a 2007 graduate of TOP GUN drug prosecution school.
He has also served as an adjunct professor at Marywood University and Lackawanna College. |
