The Trauma Services Unit of the District Attorney's Office provides 24 hour comprehensive assistance to victims of violent crime. This is done through direct services with victims, consultation with the law enforcement community regarding specific cases and needs, assistance to law enforcement with death notification as well as continued supportive therapy for victims and co-victims. To better serve the need of Lackawanna County, Trauma Services are provided in two locations: The Lackawanna County Courthouse and the Tolerico Family Center, Carbondale, PA.
